BEACH & WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES
At Woodson Cabins, we offer a variety of activities to entertain everyone. Lake Belle Taine is a recreational paradise and a popular spot for avid fishermen.
Our shoreline includes a safe, sandy swimming beach and several areas with natural aquatic vegetation. As you enjoy the sun and fresh air, we hope you learn to appreciate the wildflowers along the undeveloped shoreline and the wildlife the vegetation supports.
Drink in the clean fresh air from our sundeck furnished with comfortable chaise lounges and glider chairs or nap in the hammock. Both provide a good vantage point of the grounds and beautiful views of the lake.
The clear water and firm sand bottom make Lake Belle Taine an ideal location for swimming, water sports, or a relaxing afternoon floating on a watermat. We provide a canoe, paddleboat, fun bugs, and several kayaks for your enjoyment. Life jackets are required on all provided equipment. Equipment should not be taken out of the bay.
Woodson Cabins is small enough to provide a quiet relaxing vacation but large enough to offer a variety of activities. We have a RAVE inflatable water volleyball system. Lake Belle Taine is large enough to allow water skiing, tubing, and kneeboarding provided you exercise good judgment and respect others using the lake. Woodson Cabins does not provide motorized equipment like boats or jet skis due to liability issues, but guests are allowed to bring their own and use the public boat launch.
