ITEMS TO PACK

  • Beach towels
We provide basic linens and towels for in-cabin use. Large groups may also want to bring their own bath towels.
  • Personal toiletries
We provide dish and hand soap in the cabins.
  • Paper products
We provide two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels for your stay. Any additional napkins or kleenex needs during your stay should be self-supplied.
  • Seasonings (and food)
We provide some kitchen basics, like salt and pepper. If you are planning to cook during your stay, please prepare accordingly. Forget something? Not to worry! We have grocery stores in the area to buy your full week's worth of food or the spare item or two that you forgot at home.
  • Food storage
Our cabins' kitchens are fully stocked with all your cooking and eating needs — from cookware and bakeware to dishes, utensils, and even a few Pyrex/Ziplock storage containers. However, we do recommend guests bring their own storage containers to pack out any leftover food. Saran wrap, wax paper, and aluminum foil should also be brought if your cooking plans require them.
  • Charcoal and starter
Each cabin is equipped with its own charcoal grill, but charcoal and starter are not provided.
  • Insect repellent and sunscreen
This one is self-explanatory. Minnesota during the summer is prolific in sunshine and mosquitos. Pack accordingly!
  • First-aid supplies
Live by the Boy Scout's motto: Always be prepared! Don't forget your medication and throw in that first-aid kit for good measure. You never know when you'll need a bandaid or pain reliever.

DON'T FORGET THOSE EXTRAS

A list of some "nice to have's" that may make your stay more enjoyable.
